Община Мизия

City of Craiova is an administrative center of  Dolj County, republic of Rumania and according to the census of the population in  2005 it has 304 thousand inhabitants.

The archeological findings show that on the territory of today Graiova there were ancient settlements of Geto- Dacians  , dated to 400-350  BC.

The industry is well developed in the city.

The friendly relations between municipality of Mizia and municipality of  Craiova date  from the beginning of  2007  , when a memorandum of cooperation was signed and  project "Cross-border network for preservation of  the  green wealth in the Danube riverside  municipalities of  Mizia and Craiova", funded by the EU PHARE Programme  launched

Mayor of municipality of  Craiova is Antonio Solomon.

The Municipality of Gradsko is located in the central part of republic of Macedonia. Administrative center is the village of Gradsko with a population of   2219 residents.

To the east of the village  there are the ruins of the ancient city Stobi , which was  devastated and abandoned after an earthquake in 518  A.D..

Near the village is the restored monument of 242 Bulgarian soldiers of Fifth Infantry Danube Division   died in the battles of World War II.

The main occupation of the population is connected with grain production, vegetables production and vine-growing .

On October 31^st 2008 was signed a   Memorandum of Cooperation between the municipality of Mizia and municipality of Gradsko . The two mayors – Dr.Violin Krushovenski and  Gligor Kotsev  put their signatures under  arrangements ,which include  promotion of mutual investments, tourism development , economic and trade exchange , joint cultural and sports events.
